The Whale on Main B&B is an upmarket B&B, located in the seaside village of Hermanus

We are situated in close proximity to the Hermanus golf course and only a few minutes drive to downtown.

Access to the world famous cliff path is just across the street and takes you along the seafront to the town centre. On your way, you can watch whales during season.

In the other direction, the Cliff Path leads you to the excellent and best rated Grotto Beach. Enjoy fantastic views and a picnic on one of the many benches or the smaller beaches.

Our rooms are luxuriously furnished, most with balconies and views of the mountains or the sea. All rooms have excellent beds, satellite TV, free Wi-Fi and a coffee station. We also serve a hearty breakfast!

An outdoor pool for swimming and relaxing is located on the premises.

Der Zugang zum weltberühmten Klippenweg befindet sich direkt auf der anderen Straßenseite und führt Sie entlang der Uferpromenade ins Stadtzentrum. Auf Ihrem Weg können Sie während der Saison Wale beobachten.

In die andere Richtung führt Sie der Cliff Path zum ausgezeichneten und best-bewerteten Grotto Beach. Genießen Sie fantastische Ausblicke und ein Picknick auf einer der vielen Bänke oder an den kleineren Stränden.

    We had the best time at the Whale on Main! Communication was excellent, we were welcomed so warmly by the host (including a glass of Gluhwein!), and she even upgraded our room at no cost!     Alles war sehr sauber und Tanja stand immer mit Rat & Tat zur Seite.Zum Frühstück gab es eine kleine Menükarte aus der man jeden Tag auswählen kann.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden das GH gern weiter empfehlen.Vielen Dank für ALLES!
